On Sunday, April 29 Time for Lyme will host its first annual 5K walk/run starting at beautiful Cove Island Park in Stamford, CT. Race Against Lyme is part of the organization’s commitment to prevention, education, treatment and research activities related to Lyme and other tick-borne diseases. The incidence of Lyme disease continues to rise in our state, especially among our children.

The 5K walk/run, timed to help kick off Connecticut’s Lyme Disease Awareness Month, will cover a flat 5k loop on local neighborhood roads, ending back inside the Park. Children will have a chance to race on a loop course of their own inside the park.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Registration

Individual Registration: $20 per person before April 27; $25 Day of Event
Family Registration: $65 (up to 6 people) before April 27; $70 Day of Event
