NO ROAD BIKES, NO CYCLOCROSS BIKES, and NO DRAFTING. This is a USAT sanctioned event.
Runs are on grass and pavement; bike is on sand, gravel paths, roads, grass and some off-road through thin woods. Dirt may be soft or hard depending on temperature and rains. The course is well marked with flags and chalk arrows.
All racers must have ANSI approved cycling helmets and all chin straps must be fastened BEFORE you leave the transition area. NO DRAFTING - all USAT cycling rules apply.
