April 16 Petitions/Scratches must be received by 7 PM. None accepted by telephone,mail,or fax. MUST BE SENT BY E-MAIL ONLY E-Mail at: ken@plattsys.com SCRATCHES DUE by 7 PM, Wednesday, April 16th ENTRIES 1.) Seed time should be listed to the hundredth second (add .24 to convert manual time). Field event performances should be listed imperially. Please use accurate times. FALSIFICATION OF TIMES/DISTANCES/HEIGHTS will lead to a fine of $50.00 per incorrect entry or a maximum fine of $350.00 payable before the start of the championship. 2.) ENTRIES- each school is allowed 3 entries per individual event. You can enter more than 3 athletes (up to 5) in an event providing ALL athletes in that event meet CTC qualifying standards (enclosed). Each school may enter only one team in all relays. NO QUALIFYING STANDARDS for relays. 3.) Final results will be available to each head coach at the conclusion of the championships. Enter gym throught main entrance and turn left. At the end of the hall, make a right. Go through double doors to third door on left. TRACK: The Track is polyurethane and 1/4 " spikes are allowed, although the track builder recommens 1/8 " spikes. The javelin will be thrown from a grass runway. CHECK-IN: Check-in at the field event competition when called. Running events will be checked in at the Tent closest to the High Jump 20 minutes prior to event. Hip numbers will be worn on the left hip. SPORTS MEDICINE: Trainers will be available at the Track for minor injuries. DRESSING ROOMS: Dressing rooms and showers will be available in the locker rooms of Billera Hall. You are responsible for your valuables. Starting Heights: Women's High Jump 4' 6" Bar will go up 2 inch increments Men's High Jump 5' 6" Bar will go up 2 inch increments Women's Pole Vault 7' 6" Bar will go up 6" increments Men's Pole Vault 11' 6" Bar will go up 6" increments Heats: We will be running slow to fast heats. Weigh-ins: Will be in the hallway in the back of Gym. If facing the gym from the track, go through right set of doors. NOTE: Following are the ONLY WEIGH-IN TIMES: Saturday: 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. MAKE SURE YOUR ATHLETES ADHERE TO THIS TIME SCHEDULE! WE WILL NOT WEIGH-IN ALL DAY!!!! Results: The results will be posted on the wall of the rec courts. Scoring: Eight (8) places -- (10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1)
