Purpose: The purpose of this meet is to give developing athletes in our programs the opportunity to compete at the end of
the season against others who are at their competitive level. The majority of these athletes will likely be under-class students,
however it does not preclude a senior who has come out for track and is in good standing with his or her team but may not be
of the caliber that would afford him/her an opportunity to compete at the varsity championship level (ISL or NEPSTA
Divisional Championships) or is “locked” out of their event because they are the third or fourth best in their event
• The JV development meet is reserved for those athletes not competing in ISL Championships. As per our decision at the
2018 pre-season coaches meeting, should an athlete have a particularly good day and qualify for the NE championships
coaches could enter them in that meet. Please remember however that this is not a “last chance meet” to improve seed
times for the NE’s! (We’re working on the honor system here!) Also note that we retain the exception for an athlete to
move “up” onto a relay team in the NE Championship Meet because of an injury to a varsity relay team member during
Thursday or Friday practices of the last week.
• Individual performances will be recorded. No team scores will be kept.
• Each school will be responsible for officiating a field event (boys and girls).
• The Meet will utilize Fully Automatic Timing (FAT) and held at Regis College’s 8 lane track facility.
• Note that we will run the 3000 m at the start of the meet (3:30 PM) when the field events This will help move the meet
along and get us all home sooner!
• We have a hard end time of 6:30! So we have to move along. Please be sure your athletes are at the starting line for
• Entries will be due using Athletics.net and are due Monday, May 16th at 5:00 PM.
• Coaches will receive an email from Platt Systems with an invitation to register for the meet
