Notes:	The Thursday Jan. 4th HS Qualifier meet at Wesleyan University , has been canceled due to the forecasts of severe weather emergency & Public school closings. The snow date for this meet will be Thursday Jan. 18th 2018 @ Wesleyan Univ. - Bacon Field House The Logistic of the meet will remain the same concerning time. ( entries, performance list, start time ) Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see all of you on Jan. 18th ***************************************************** EVENTS for the January 18, 2018 Sprint/Jump/Hurdle meet Doors Open: 3:00 pm Field Events: 4:00 pm Running Events: 4:00 pm 55 Hurdles G/B (10.65/9.35) or top 120 seeded athletes only. 15 heats of 8 lanes (each gender) 55m Sprint G/B (8.30/7.25) or top 144 seeded athletes only. 18 heats of 8 lanes (each gender) 300m Sprint G/B (48.25/39.50) or top 90 seeded athletes only. 15 heats of 6 lanes (each gender) 4x400 Relay G/B (top 36 seeded A teams only). 6 heats of 6 teams (each gender) High Jump B/G (top 30 seeded athletes only) - starting height at g-4-6/b-5-6 (each gender-3 per team) 1 pit Pole Vault G/B (top 30 seeded athletes only) - starting height at g-7-0/b-9-6 (each gender-3 per team) EVENTS for the January 11, 2018 Distance meet 600m B/G (1:38/1:55) or top 60 seeded athletes only. 12 heats of 5 athletes (each gender) 1600m B/G (5:15/6:15 or top 50 seeded athletes only. 5 heats of 10 athletes (each gender) 1000m B/G (3:00/3:45) or top 80 seeded athletes only. 8 heats of 10 athletes (each gender) 3200m B/G (10:50/13:00) or top 45 seeded athletes only. 3 heats of 15 athletes (each gender) 4x800 B/G Relay (top 36 seeded A teams only). 3 heats of 12 teams Long Jump B/G (top 40 seeded athletes only). 1 measured attempt, then only measurements at or past qualifiying mark of g-14-6/b-18-4 (each gender-2 per team). 1 pit Shot Put (top 45 seeded athletes only). 1 measured attempt, then only measurements at or past qualifying mark of g-28-0/b-38-0 (each gender-3 per team) 2 circles All team registrations and entries should be done on www.plattsys.com All results will be posted on www.plattsys.com These meets feature events contested at the CIAC State meets in a track and field facility beneficial for qualifying performances. There is an event standard for all events, but all events will be filled to the maximum field number. Blocks will be supplied for 55 Hurdles and 55m Sprint. No blocks will be allowed in the 300m (please have proper sprint spikes).
