Notes:	2016 BI Heath Service 5K Beach Run/Walk WHEN: Sunday, August 7 START: 9:30 am COURSE DESCRIPTION: 3.1 mile/5K run or walk on the most beautiful beach on Block Island. One water stop is provided at the half way mark at end of Mansion Beach (also the turnaround point). Fresh fruit and beverages will be provided at the finish. About This Activity A 3.2 mile/5k run on the most beautiful beach on Block Island. Check in is located at the Fred Benson Beach Pavilion- a 10 minute walk from the ferry dock. Event details and schedule Race numbers and T-Shirts will be available at 9:30 AM at the Fred Benson Beach Pavilion which is also where the race will begin and finish. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place for men's and women's overall. 1st place only for men and women for the run: 12 and under; 13-17; 18-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+; and Year Round Islander. All participants under 12 will receive an award! PRIZE DIVISIONS: 1st Place Men’s and Women's Overall for the run. 1st place only for Men’s and Women’s for the run: 17 and under; 18-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60+; & Year Round Islander.
